IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred on me by section 76 of the Civil Procedure Act 1972, I hereby make the following Rules -

TITLE AND COMMENCEMENT

1. These Rules may be cited as the Copying (Fees) Rules 1977 and shall come into force on 1st February, 1977.

FEES TO BE COLLECTED FOR COPIES OF DOCUMENTS

2. Where any person applies for a copy of any document in the possession of the Supreme Court or the District Court to be made and supplied to him by the Registrar of the Supreme Court or the Clerk of the District Court he shall pay a fee for the copying in accordance with the scale set out in the Schedule to these Rules:

Provided that the Registrar or the Clerk, as the case may be, may waive payment of the fee in any instance on the ground of the applicant's poverty.

REPEAL

3. The Copying (Fees) Rules 1973 are repealed.

Made this 7th day of January, 1977.

1. For a photographic copy of all or part of any document, whether or not issued as an office copy, for each photographic sheet of B.4 size or smaller	$0.50

2. (a) For a typewritten copy of all or part of any document written in English whether or not issued as an office copy, for each page of A.4 size or part thereof of the typed copy	$2.00
(b) For a carbon copy of a typewritten copy the typewritten copy, for each page of A.4 size or part thereof	$0.40

3. For examining a plain copy and marking it as an office copy-

(a) in the case of a photographic copy, for each photographic sheet of B.4 size or smaller	$0.50

(b) in the case of a typed or carbon copy, for each page of A.4 size or part thereof of the typed copy	$2.00

4. For a copy, other than a photographic copy, of a document the reasonable cost of other than a document written in English	the reasonable cost of making the copy, as certified by the Registrar or the Clerk, as the case may be
